Membership to Sigma Kappa Delta can be whatever you want it to be. If you became a member just to have it noted on your college transcripts, so be it. You do not have to attend meetings or any club events. Your participation is solely left to your discretion!!

Yes, but you only need to achieve (and sustain) a minimum 3.0 grade point average in general studies and no grade lower than a "B" in any English course.

No: Once a member, always a member. Dues are for lifetime membership.

In order to be considered for publishing in the SKD's national journal, the author (student) of the written work MUST be an active* member of Sigma Kappa Delta.

The written work being submitted can include any of the following:

critcal essays, creative non-fiction, poetry collection, fiction, or original prose (short story, flash fiction, drama, or screenplay).

* Active ΣΚΔ members are defined as students currently enrolled in 100/200 level classes that are actively seeking an associate’s degree in the academic year in which the material is submitted. Alumni members are not eligible.
